Obituary of David L. Risher

David L. Risher, 58, of New Kensington, tragically passed away due to being a victim of a homicide Saturday July 6, 2024.  Mr. Risher was born August 28, 1965 in Greensburg to the late Louis David Risher and Betty Mae Altman Risher Beard.

Dave was a graduate of Penn Trafford High School.  He was the ultimate outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.  Dave was a self-proclaimed landscaper and enjoyed maintaining the grounds at his home.  He enjoyed hanging out with his best friend and roommate Grant, and spending time with his family.

Dave is survived by his loving family, his daughter, Bridgette Risher Cooper (Victor); his granddaughter, Ellanore Cooper; his siblings, Brenda Lee Johnson (Mark), Dennis Risher (Judy), and Linda Good; his best friend and roommate, Grant; and by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.  In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his step-father, William A. Beard Sr.; and his siblings, Joseph and John Risher, and Diane Marie Miller.
