Obituary of Jeanne Louise Ahlborn

Mount Pleasant, Jeanne L. Ahlborn, age 89 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Tuesday (2/23/16) at the Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mount Pleasant, PA. Miss Ahlborn was born May 29, 1926 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Henry and Isabel Ansel Ahlborn. She was a longtime member of St. John's Union Church of Mt. Pleasant. Jeanne was a 1944 graduate of the former Hurst High School. She retired from the Westinghouse Corp after many years of service. Jeanne devoted her later years to caring for her mother. Jeanne is survived by her loving family: her devoted great nephew, George C. Ahlborn and his wife Amy of White, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Henry William, Clarence Allison, Clifford Wilbur, and Charles Richard Ahlborn, Mabel Irene Dunn, Evelyn Mae Bash, and Helen June Hutton. Family and friends will be received Friday from 4 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Kruel officiating.
