Obituary of Brenda (Lyall) Geesaman

Mount Pleasant, Brenda S. (Lyall) Geesaman, age 56 of Mount Pleasant, PA (Bullskin Township), died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Geesaman was born February 14, 1960 in Elkton, MD, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mona Hearn Lyall Townsend. She was a member of the Pennsville Baptist Church. Brenda was a graduate of the Elkton Christian School. She had been employed as a Customer Service Manager for Excela Health. Brenda lived for her husband, children, grandchildren and others. Her passion was to ensure that the love of the Lord was known to everyone she encountered. She was continuously giving to others and her happiness came from knowing that everyone around her felt welcomed and loved. Brenda is survived by her loving family: her husband of 38 Years, Brian K. Geesaman, her step father, Irwin Townsend of Mt. Pleasant, her children: Belinda Callaghan and Nathan of Elizabeth, Bethany Wiese and Kurtis of Mt. Pleasant, Britney Meyer and Samuel of Greensburg, and Brian K. Geesaman II and Linda of Orange, CA, and by her beloved grandchildren; Kamryn, Samuel, Ethan, Spencer, Zyler, Stella, Jace, Margot, and Soleil. She is also survived by her sisters and brother; Elizabeth McDermott of Bear, DE, Norma Prater of Rockwell, NC, Richard Lyall of Rising Sun, MD, and Josephine Mallonee, Patricia Carnaroli and Mellissa Beers, all of Elkton, MD. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and James Lyall, and by her niece and nephew, Lisa Lyall and Mark Shellender. There will be no hours of public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her life Service that will be held Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Pennsville Baptist Church, 3298 Richey Road, Mount Pleasant, PA with Pastor Craig Geesaman officiating.
