Obituary of Kathryn Ruth Lowe

 Kathryn Ruth (Moffatt) Lowe, age 80 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Lowe was born June 21, 1936 in Bedford, PA, the daughter of the late Charles Robinson Moffatt and Mildred Crum Moffatt. She had been employed as an Inspector by the former Sony Corporation. Kathryn was a member of the Hearts and Hands Quilting Guild of Scottdale, and enjoyed the companionship of her quilting buddies and going to shop hops with the gang. She was an avid deck gardener and looked forward to sharing her vegetables with her family and friends.

Kathryn is survived by her loving family: her children; Sandra Lowe of Wyoming, Warren K. Lowe and his wife Gigi of Acme, Steven D. Lowe and his wife Moira of Colorado, Raymond C. Lowe and his wife Terri and Scot A. Lowe and his wife Lori, all of South Carolina. Kathryn will be sadly missed by her beloved thirteen grandchildren and her five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Lowe in 2010, and by her brothers, Charles Kimberly Moffatt and James Moffatt.
