Obituary of Joseph T. Karadus

Joseph T. "Buzz" Karadus, age 78, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday September 9, 2021, at his home ,surrounded by his family. Mr. Karadus was born January 23, 1943 in Munhall, the son of the late Stephen and Cecelia Popovich Karadus. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. Buzz served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was an electrician by trade, but his passion was farming. He loved spending time in the fields and tending to his crops. Joe is survived by his loving family; his wife, Nancy Kovacs Karadus, his children, Kimberly (Randy) Thomas and Joseph W. (Joanne) Karadus, his grandchildren, Rebecca (Jeff) Thomas, Garrett (Sarah) Thomas and Joseph C. (Allison) Karadus and by his beloved great- grandson, Joseph Karadus. He is also survived by his brother, Stephen "Pip" (Audrey) Karadus. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Mary, Judy, Jackie, Charles, and Dolly. Honoring Joe's wishes, a private Memorial Mass will be held at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mt. Pleasant.
