Obituary of David B. Long

David B. Long, age 37, of Mt. Pleasant died Friday October 1, 2021 at his home. He was born December 5, 1983 in Mt. Pleasant, son of Patricia "Tricia" Coffman Long and the late David M. Long. David attended Mt. Pleasant High School and was a graduate of Triangle Tech. He enjoyed working as an HVAC Technician. David enjoyed fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. David will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Michael (Tracey) Long, and his nephews, Chase and Miles. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Ruthie Long of the Mt. Pleasant, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his best dog, Sheila. David was preceded in death by his father, David M. Long, his maternal grandparents, Brice and Sally Coffman, his paternal grandfather, Owen Long, his uncle Richard Coffman, and his dog Sheila. There will be no public hours of visitation.
