Obituary of Patricia A. Beranek

Patricia A. "Patty" Beranek, age 77 of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Beranek was born May 21, 1944 in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie Lesniak Bellush. She was a member of the former Transfiguration Parish in Mt. Pleasant. Patty worked for the Menasha Corporation for 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her loving family: her sons, James D. (Debbie) Beranek and Mark A. Beranek, all of Mt. Pleasant, her grandchildren, Jason Beranek, Jacqueline (Derek) Lyle and Michael Rietski and by her great-granchildren, Nina and Vincent Lyle. Patty is also survived by her sister and brothers, Carol Dawson, Robert Bellush, and Bernard (Sue) Bellush. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Beranek, by her brother, Edward Bellush and by her sisters, Ann Dzambo and Josephine T. Pytlak. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. Patty’s Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Private Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
