Obituary of Leonard P. Latsko

Leonard P. Latsko, age 94 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Monday, (11/29/2021) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Mr. Latsko was born September 2, 1927 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Paul and Mary Nasta Latsko. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. Leonard attended the former East Huntingdon High School and was a graduate of the Chicago Institute of Technology. He was a Veteran of WWII who proudly served in the United States Army. Leonard was a Draftsman Specialist for Apex Machine Co. in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He traveled extensively throughout the United States and also abroad to Italy, Japan, and South Africa servicing equipment for his Company. Leonard was a gifted woodworker and enjoyed working in his garden. Leonard is survived by his loving family: his sister, Mary Ann Latsko Poudrier of Mount Pleasant and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Amdy Latsko in 1989, by his second wife, Bertha Pavuk Latsko in 2015 and by his brother, Paul Latsko in 2008. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Leonard will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Private Inurnment will be in the St Pius X Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
