Obituary of Mary Anne Kuchar
Mount Pleasant, Mary Anne Palla Kuchar, age 90 of Mount Pleasant, formerly of RuffsDale, died Wednesday (05/18/2011) in Nobles Personal Care Home, Mount Pleasant, PA.
Mrs. Kuchar was born May 7, 1921 in Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Palla. .
Mary was a member of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Her favorite pastime had been working in her garden, especially with her late husband. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all that knew her. Mary is survived by her loving family: her children; William J. Kuchar, Jr. of RuffsDale, Mary Ann Bitner of CA, Pauline Kolar Toth and her husband Steve of Smithton and by numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Martin Palla of Harrison City, Joseph Palla and his wife Mary Lou of Greensburg, Margaret Hegedus of RuffsDale, Elizaberth Uhrin, and Dorothy Garsteck, both of Ohio and Veronica Lovis of Mt. Pleasant and by her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kuchar was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William J. Kuchar, Sr. in 2003, her daughter in law, Eileen Sethman Kuchar in 1995 and by her brothers; John, Anthony and Steve Palla.
In honoring the wishes of Mrs. Kuchar, there will be no hours of public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Saturday, May 21, 2011 @10:00A M at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, corner of Eagle and Walnut Streets, Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.
