Obituary of Jill C. Weyandt

Jill C. Weyandt, age 75 of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday January 23, 2022, in The Grove at Latrobe surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Weyandt was born May 2, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Powers Gunsallus. Mrs. Weyandt was a graduate of Ramsay High School class of 1964. She worked at Frick Hospital as nurse and later worked at Hidden Valley Ski Resort. She enjoyed riding on the bike trail at Ohiopyle, rattlesnake hunting, horses, and going to Ridgeview Park in Derry. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jill is survived by her loving family, her son, Michael Carns (Tracey); her grandchildren, Shayln Sirianna (Mike), and Shane Carns (Sydney); and by her beloved great-grandsons, Casen, Zander, and Braxtin. She is also survived by her siblings, Jackie Swantek, Eleanor Ann Steiner (Bob), Marylou Gunsallus, Jack Gunsallus (Lori), and Brooke Gunsallus (Deborah); and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Jill was preceded in death by her husband David Weyandt and her first husband Bill Carns Jr. Family and friends are invited from 4 until the time of her funeral service at 6 PM on Thursday at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home 204 Eagle St., Mt.
