Obituary of Rosajean Gaskey

Rosajean ( Jean) Gaskey, 92, of Southwest Greensburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 11, 2022 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Southwest Greensburg and was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Isola) Costabile. She was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady Of Grace Church. Rosajean enjoyed a lifetime of love of fashion and dance and taught various dance styles. Many may remember her as the "T-Fal" Lady in Kaufmann's. In addition to her parents, Rosajean was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene W. Gaskey Sr., four brothers, Louis, Henry J. , who died in WWII, Alvin and Donald Costabile. Rosajean is survived by her son, Eugene (Gene) Gaskey Jr. and his wife Sandy of Mt. Pleasant, her daughter, Deanne Gaskey of Gaithersburg, Maryland and two grandchildren, Bart (Tracey) Gaskey of Greensburg and Gina (Andrew) Conti of New Hampshire, and six great-grandchildren, Vincent and Aaron Gaskey and Andrew, Anneliese and Evan Conti, and Bernice Bethke. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, February 15th, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday , February 16th at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 1011 Mount Pleasant Rd., Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
