Obituary of Laurie L Yanniello

Laurie L. Yanniello, age 57 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital Mount Pleasant. Mrs. Yanniello was born in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Victor and Martha Peterson Lukas Sr. Laurie was a 1983 graduate of Mount Pleasant Area High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking for her family, loved music and animals, especially fond of pigs. She adored her pet pig Charlotte and kitty Abbey. In addition to her parents, Laurie is survived by her husband, Joe Yanniello; her daughter Allyssa Yanniello and boyfriend Nathan Babich; her brothers Victor Lukas Jr. (Jeanine), and Quinn Lukas (Nikki Mendicino); her mother in law Patty Yanniello; her brothers in law Michael (Janie) and Timothy Yanniello; and her nephews Ryan and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Herbert Peterson and Sarah, and her paternal grandmother, Gertrude Mellander and her father in law Michael C. Yanniello. Family and friends will be received Saturday at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant from 3 PM until the time of Laurie's funeral service at 7 PM, with the Rev. Thomas C. Shirer officiating.
