Obituary of Todd L. Shaffer

Todd L. Shaffer, age 54 of Donegal PA, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at his home. Mr. Shaffer was born on April 3, 1968 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of Sandra Shaffer and the late Lawrence B. “Skid” Shaffer Sr. He worked most recently as the Maintenance Manager for Utz Foods in Berlin, PA. Prior to that, he worked in process engineering and maintenance roles with several other industrial companies and traveled across the US and around the world. Todd was a 1986 graduate of Mount Pleasant Area High School and earned an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State McKeesport in 1992. He enjoyed NASCAR and all things related to cars. He also cherished time that he spent with his daughter Lindsay when she was younger. He is survived by his mother Sandra, daughter Lindsay Shaffer, brother Lawrence B. “Skid” Shaffer Jr. (Cindy) and his nieces, Katherine Carlisle (Wesley) and Natalie Zeitouni (Daniel). Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 -4 and 6-8 PM at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Todd’s funeral service will be in the funeral home on Monday, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Mount Joy Cemetery, Mount Pleasant.
