Obituary of Craig E. Hood

Craig E. Hood, age 56 of Rutherfordton, NC died unexpectedly Monday, September 5, 2022.  Craig was born on December 19, 1965 in Bedford, OH to Carole L. Shaffer Hood and the late Frederick E. Hood.

Mr. Hood was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School.  He was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed being in nature.  Craig lived out his dream when he moved to Rutherfordton, NC to live on his 14 acres.

Craig is survived by his mother, Carole L. Hood; his daughter Ashley Minick (Clint); His granddaughter, Adalynn Minick; his siblings, Chad F. Hood, and Cheryl L. Hall; his nephew, Tyler F. Hall (Stephanie) and their daughter Teagan; and Tori M. Pritts (Maxwell) and their daughter Aria.  Craig was preceded in death by his father Frederick E. Hood in 2021; and his sister Christina Lee Polanofsky in 2006.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt.
