Obituary of Lois E. Landy

Lois E. Landy, 90, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday November 10, 2022 in St. Anne's Nursing Home in Greensburg.  Mrs. Landy was born January 17, 1932 in Masontown, to the late Alvin and Anna Mae Benford Hann.

Lois was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant.  She worked at Anchor Hocking and later with her husband in the carnival business.  Lois was an excellent cook and baker.  She most of all loved spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by her loving daughters, Linda M. Pilla (George) of Alliance, OH, and Cindy Babjack (Lawrence) of Greensburg; her beloved grandchildren, Michael Falcon, Julie Lawrence (Brian), Adam Falcon, Shana Pilla-Baum, Ryan Pilla (Trisha), and Eric Pilla; and by her adoring great-grandchildren, Tyler, Mario, Jaxon, Mason, Jayden, Gia, Ava, Carly, Natalie, Samantha, and Vincent.  Lois is also survived by her siblings, Donald Hann and Karen Bassinger.  In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent A. Landy in 2012; and by seven brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Lois on Saturday, November 12th at 12:30 PM at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 224 Summit St., Mt. Pleasant, PA.  Interment will follow in St. Pius X Parish Cemetery.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, Mt.
