Obituary of Ilene Kuhn

Luella Ilene (Echard) Kuhn, 89 of Kecksburg, died Sunday, February 5, 2023 in Life's Promise Personal Care Home in Ligonier.  Mrs. Kuhn was born on February 15, 1933 in White, to the late Lloyd and Olive Davis Echard.

Ilene was a member of the Fairview Church of God in Kecksburg.  She loved to be outside, especially working in her yard. 

Ilene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Charles “Duane” Kuhn in 2019; her son, Dwight Kuhn; and her siblings, Harold, Denver, Wilmer, and Goldie Echard, and Dorothy Caldwell.  Ilene is survived by her loving siblings, Jesse Echard (Carrie) of White, Mildred Andolino of Monarch, Garnett Ream (Harvey) of Acme, Geraldine Geary (Eugene) of Normalville, and Judy Eddinger of Lebanon, TN; and by numerous nieces and nephews. 

At Ilene’s request all services were private at Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Life's Promise Personal Care Home and Suncrest Hospice for their wonderful care of Ilene.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt.
