Obituary of Frances J. Yesho

Frances Joan Yesho, 83, of Mt. Pleasant passed away, Tuesday February 21, 2023 at Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  Frances was born May 24, 1939 in Kecksburg to the late Michael and Elizabeth Simko Jurkovic.

Mrs. Yesho was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  She was a graduate of Ramsay High School and later went on to work as a Nurse's Aide at Frick Hospital.  Frances was an avid bingo player and was a proud Booster in the 1980's of the Mt. Pleasant Vikings Football Team.

Frances is survived by her loving sons, David Yesho (Karin), Daniel Yesho (Roberta), and Douglas Yesho (LaDawn); her adoring grandchildren, Molly and Zachary Yesho; her step-grandchildren Alura and Victoria DeFrancesco; and her step-great-grandson, Roman.  She is also survived by her siblings, Nora Wilkins (Larry), and Cyndi Sonafelt; and by her sister-in-law Karen Jurkovic.  In addition to her parents Frances was preceded in death by her husband Julius Yesho in 2003; her brothers, Phillip and Michael Jurkovic; and her niece, Michelle Jurkovic. 

Family and friends will be received on Friday February 24th from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant.  A blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  A private committal service will follow at Visitation Parish Cemetery.  The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for their care and kindness for Frances Yesho.  To offer an online condolence please visit our website at www.galone-carusofuneralhome.com
