Obituary of James R. Prince

James R. Prince Sr., 77 of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday April 5, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.  James was born September 29, 1945 in Rochester, PA to the late James S. and Jean L. Decker Prince.

Mr. Prince was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. James was a graduate of Monaca High School class of 1963 and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.  He retired after many years of service as a metro driver for UPS and he was a proud member of the UPS Cirle of Honor.  James was very proud of his flowers and could always be seen watering them.

James is survived by his loving wife, Karen A. Jahoda Prince of Mt. Pleasant; his children, Donald W. Prince (Paula) of Mt. Pleasant, Rebecca J. Halko (Brian) of Florida, and James R. Prince Jr. (Jennifer Ryan) of Everson; his grandchildren, Jarred, Maxwell, Rhiannon, Joshua, Christian, Shawn, James, and Alex; his great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Rowan, and Madelyn; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Prince and Shirley Schaffer.
