Obituary of Linda G. Leonard

Linda G. Leonard, 80 of Latrobe Passed away Friday April 7, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Linda was born September 6, 1942 in Jeanette to the late Lewis and Edna Hayden Mumper.

Linda was a graduate of Jeannette High School.  She loved to garden, plant flowers, dance, and take trips to the casino. 

Linda is survived by her loving companion of over 35 years, Thomas Kalata of Latrobe; her brother Gary Mumper & family of Jeanette; her loving children, Michael J. Leonard (Marchelle) of Tennessee, Michelle Ruckert (Craig) of Georgia, Brian T. Kalata (Rene`) of Georgia, and Carrie Scott of Virginia; and by her adoring grandchildren, Alexa, Dominick, and Olivia Leonard, Landon Scott, and Ashley and Emily Kalata.  She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Linda Ovitsky, and Karen Govern (Rick); and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Kathy Mumper. 

In honoring Linda's wishes a private memorial service will be held at a later date.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Excela Health Home Care & Hospice for the excellent care that they gave Linda, especially Christy.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, Mt.
