Obituary of Annabelle Hare

Annabelle Hare, age 92 of Mt. Pleasant PA, died Thursday (4/13/2023) in the comfort of her home.

Mrs. Hare was born Aug. 18, 1930 in VanMeter, PA, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Phillips McElfresh. Annabelle was a employed for more than 20 years as an LPN at Frick Hospital in Pediatrics. Later in her life she was employed at Walmart as a greeter.

She is survived by her loving family, her sons, George Hare Sr. (Linda), William Hare Sr. and Carl Hare; her beloved grandchildren, George Hare Jr. (Anna), Brian Hare (Sonia), Ashley McLaughlin and, William Hare Jr. (Jamie); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Hunter, Colby, Brock, and Blaine; her sister-in-law, Isabelle McElfresh and her beloved dog Molly. In addition to her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband George W. Hare in 2006, her  daughter-in-law Pam Hare; Carl's fiancé, Jayne Zarycki; and her siblings; Robert and Lloyd McElfresh, Jr., and Maxine Kattera.

Family and friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4  & 6 to 8 PM  at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.  A Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM  in the funeral home, with the Rev. Timothy Beatty officiating.
