Obituary of Thomas P. Hershberger

Thomas P. Hershberger, 76, of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday November 22, 2023 at Independence Health System-Latrobe Hospital.  Mr. Hersherberger was born August 30, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Charles and Irene Petrosky Hershberger.

Mr. Hershberger was a graduate of Southmoreland High School class of 1965.  He was a member of Alverton United Methodist Church.  Tom worked for CK Composites in Bridgeport and also had a lawn care service in Mt. Pleasant.  He loved to go antiquing and spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his loving family, his wife, Cheryl Lauffer Hershberger; his son, Joshua Hershberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son, Shawn Hershberger; his infant daughter, Jennifer; and by his siblings, Charles, David, and Nancy.
