Obituary of Joanne C. Tepper

Joanne C. Tepper, 90, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday April 24, 2024 at Mountain View Memory Care.  She was born March 12, 1934 to the late Daniel and Hallie Albright in Hecla. 

Joanne was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  She was a very giving person who loved life.  Joanne always had a joke and nickname for everyone. She was always laughing and never took life to seriously.  In her later years, she loved sitting on the porch watching and feeding the birds.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and she will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her four children, Leonard Tepper Jr. (Daphne), Darlene Blanda, Cynthia Bowers (Dan), and Daniel Tepper (Debie); her grandchildren, Tanya Barras (John), Hallie Brodak (Ed), Emily Tepper, and Ian Tepper; her great-grandchildren, Brandon, Christian, Andrew, and Charlotte; her sister, Louise Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Tepper Sr.; grandchildren, Adam Ryan Tepper, and Kristi Jo Bienia; her son-in-law, Michael Blanda; her five brothers, and three sisters.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 & 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc. 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant.  A blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at Noon followed by her Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Visitation Parish Cemetery.  The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Mountain View Memory Care and Medi Home Hospice for their wonderful care of Joanne.  They would also like to thank her sister, Louise and her niece, Joyce for all the time they spent with their mother and for all of the food, clothes, and gifts.  In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to your favorite charity in loving memory of Joanne Tepper.  To offer an online condolence please visit our website at www.galone-carusofuneralhome.com
