Obituary of Kenneth J. Staiger

 

 

Kenneth J. Staiger, 63, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday June 25, 2024 at Independence Health System-Latrobe Hospital.  Mr. Staiger was born October 11, 1960 in Pittsburgh to Carol A. White Staiger and the late Donald R. Staiger.

 

Kenneth was a graduate of Penn Hills High School class of 1978 and the Art Institute of New Kensington with a degree in graphic design and marketing.  He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant.  He worked in the advertising department at SuperValu, Le-Nature’s Beverage, and Westmoreland Cultural Trust.  He also was the proud owner of Hometown Graphic Design.  Ken had a real gift for design and has designed several important pieces in the area.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle.

 

Ken is survived by his loving family, his mother, Carol A. Staiger; his brothers, Keith A. Staiger (Diana), Kevin Staiger (Pauline), Kirk E. Staiger (Jacqueline), and Kerry Staiger (Lori); his nieces and nephews, Daniel (Gina), Caroline (Cory), Shane (Tara), Chase (Alexandra), and Christopher (Hazel); and several beloved great-nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his godson Shane Staiger; his goddaughter Jamie Hatfield; his best friend who he thought of as another brother, Robert J. DelDuca and family; and by his faithful canine companion, Radar.  Ken was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Staiger.
