Obituary of Eugene W. Weimer

Eugene W. Weimer, 66, of Latrobe formerly of Scottdale, died peacefully Friday October 25, 2024 at The Grove at Latrobe.  Mr. Weimer was born November 16, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Domer and Reda M. Thomas Weimer.

Eugene was a graduate of Southmoreland High School class of 1975.  He worked as a mechanic for Groomes Transit.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars.  He could be stubborn at times, but was always very loving, and caring toward his children and grandchildren.   

Eugene is survived by his loving family, his daughter, Lindsey Weimer; step-son, Wayne Fuller; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother, Scott Weimer; sister, Susan Thomas (Joe); and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his infant sister.
