Obituary of Kimberly A. Szabo

Kimberly A. Szabo, 62, of Unity Twp. passed away Saturday October 26, 2024.  Mrs. Szabo was born September 17, 1962 in Charleroi to the late George and Laurie L. Brashear Dokish.

Kim was a graduate of Yough Area High School and The University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors Degree.  She retired after working at WCCC as a secretary.  She was an avid Bichon Frise dog lover, especially her two puppies, Cuddles and Snuggles.   Kim enjoyed spending time with her family and her close friends.

Kim is survived by her loving family, her brother, Christopher Dokish (Jennifer); her niece, Lauren Dokish (Joseph Reyes); and her great-nephew, Christian Reyes.  Kim is also survived by her step-daughters, Denise Schreckengost, Jayme Szabo, Alissa Szabo, and Camille Tkach; granddaughters, Nicole, Megan (Jason), Elizabeth, and Carolann; and by her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Callie, Brantley, and Mason.  In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her husband, Steven J. Szabo; her sister, Debbie Dokish; and her son-in-law, Chuck Potoka. 

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of her Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
