Obituary of Patricia Louise Hagerman

Mount Pleasant, Patricia Louise Huey Hagerman, age 79 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Friday (11/11/2011) in Walnut Ridge Memory Care Center, Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Hagerman was born January 30, 1932 in Vanderbilt, PA, the daughter of the late Harold Huey and Ida Miller Huey Fisher. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant. Patty was a 1949 graduate of the former Dunbar Township High School. She had been employed by the former Mount Pleasant State Bank and then for over 25 years with PNC Bank as Head Bank Teller. When PNC's first drive thru facility was opened in Mount Pleasant, she became the Supervisor of that facility until her retirement. She loved doing crafts, working on her computer, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved talking to people. Patty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 61 years, Fred M. Hagerman, and by her children; Delphine Hagerman of Connellsville, Dennis C. Hagerman of State College, and Denise Hagerman of Glen Burnie, MD. She will be sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Erin and Brianne Gibbons, Eric Hagerman and his wife Kelly, Jill Davis and her husband Gil, and by her Great Grandchildren, Piper Davis and Avery Hagerman. Patty is also survived by her brothers-in-law Herman Arthur Gardner, Sr. and Harry McFern and his wife Doris and by her Nieces and Nephews; Herman Arthur Gardner, Jr. and his wife Carol, Calvin McFern and his wife Denise, and Diane Daugherty, and by her daughter-in-law Vicky Turner. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Jean Gardner and Mary E. McFern, and by her mother and father in law, Harry (Pete) and Jennie May Eicher Hagerman. Family and friends will be received Monday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Patty will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with her pastor, the Rev. J. Timothy Hoover officiating. Interment will be in the Cochran Cemetery, Dawson, PA.
