Obituary of Eleanor Ann Sutty

Mount Pleasant, Eleanor Ann Sutty, age 84 of Mount Pleasant (McClure) PA, died Wednesday (02/22/2012) in the Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe, PA. Miss Sutty was born July 23, 1927 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Junick Sutty. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Eleanor was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School, and had worked in Pittsburgh as a secretary for the Automobile Industry. Eleanor was a gentle, kind hearted, compassionate, caring and loving Daughter, sister and Aunt to her family. She left her job, and moved back home to McClure to spend her life caring for her mother for over 15 years. Eleanor is survived by and will be sadly missed by her loving family: her sisters; Florence Kinneer of Acme, Leona Lewandowski and her husband Clarence, and Helen Louise Lewandowski all of McClure, and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her sister Jane Sutty in 1969. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Saturday @9:30 AM, in the funeral home, followed by her 10:00AM Funeral Mass in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will be in the Visitation Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. A parish wake service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 3:00PM.
