Obituary of Florence E. Tepper

Mount Pleasant, Florence E. Michalski Tepper, age 87 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Sunday (04/08/12) in the Excela Heath- Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Tepper was born August 4, 1924 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, a daughter of the late Louis and Helen Gorczyca Michalski. She was a member of the former Transfiguration Parish, and its Holy Rosary Society and was a current member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Florence was a graduate of the former Hurst High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Anyone who stopped to visit always felt very welcome at her home, and Florence's greatest joy came from caring for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Florence is survived by her loving family: her children; Paul A. Tepper, Jr. and his wife Peggy, and Denise M. Tepper, all of Mt. Pleasant, and by her beloved grandchildren; Michael Tepper and his wife Christine, Julie Miller and her husband David, Brad Tepper and his wife Nadia, and David Nestor. She will be sadly missed by her great grandchildren; Natalie, Allison, Morgan, Maddox, Victoria and Nya. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Paul A. Tepper, Sr. in 2004, her brothers; Louis Michalsky Jr. in 1998, and Richard Michalski in 1999, and by her sister; Mitilda Michalski Rysz in 1998. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 10 to 12-noon at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Florence's Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 PM in St. Pius X RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Private Interment will be in the Visitation Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. The family suggests in lieu of floral tributes, contributions be made to St. Pius X Parish in Memory of Florence E.
