Obituary of Ann M. Ceidro Leonard

Girard, Ann M. Ceidro Leonard, age 90 of Girard, PA, formerly of Tarrs, died Saturday (1/19/2013) at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Leonard was born September 7, 1922 in Tarrs, PA, the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Amoroso Ceidro. Ann was a longtime member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Mt. Pleasant. She was a 1940 graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School. . Ann was a gifted baker and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed traveling to visit her family, to spend time with them and especially to cook for them and share her homemade specialties. Ann is survived by her loving family: her children; Carole Ann Pagano and her husband Lee of Florence, Kentucky, Donna Jean Struchen and her husband David of Girard, PA, Barry F. Leonard and his wife Lind of Summerville, SC, Keith S. "Skip" Leonard and his wife Sharon of San Francisco, CA and Renee L. Moore and William Lawrence of Greensburg. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Sandra Comstock and Glen, Rina Powell and Eric, Jon Hudak, Brian Leonard and Marijane, Scott Leonard and Melissa, Jeremy Leonard and Ashley, Richard Struchen and Laura, Tony Moore and Mellisa, Kaitlyn Moore, and Tammy Beers and John, and by her great grandchildren; Nicholas, Anthony, Mia, Zachary, Cortney, Emily, Paige, Hannah, Lynzee, Leah, Russell, Cody, Katelynn, Garett, Elizabeth, Tyler and Payton. Son in law Thomas Moore. Ann is also survived by her brother, Michael W. Ceidro and his wife Mary of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Leonard, Jr. in 2004, and her nephew; Richard Ceidro. . Family and friends will be received Sunday, January 27th from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Ann's Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 28th at 12:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
