Obituary of Mary Magdelene Varholla Ceidro

Mount Pleasant, Mary Magdelene Varholla Ceidro, age 77 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Tuesday (06/4/2013) in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Mrs. Ceidro was born December 8, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late John and Ann Bennish Varholla. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant and its Rosary Altar Society. Mary was also a member of Jednota Lodge Branch 44. She was a 1953 graduate of the former Hurst High School.. Mary is survived by her loving family: her husband of 59 years, Michael W. Ceidro, her children; Victoria M. Cunningham and Marianne Firestone, both of Scottdale, and David M. Ceidro and his wife Dolores "Sissy" of Mt. Pleasant. She will be sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Jennifer, Ja'Nean, Michael, Danny, Jason, Rebekah, Sarah, Jeremy, Timmy, Valerie, Rick and Stephy, and by her great grandchildren; Austin, Lenin, Amadora, Kathryn and Lucas. Mary is also survived by her sister, Helen Polakovsky of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Richard A. Ceidro in 1992, and by her sister, Evelyn Kurimcak in 2012. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30AM in the funeral home, followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev.
