Obituary of Lola M. Conforti

Mount Pleasant, Lola Marie Conforti, age 93 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Monday (07/1/2013) at her home. Mrs. Conforti was born January 29, 1920 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Jerry and Virginia Amoroso Conforti. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Lola was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School, and had been employed for many years as an Administrative Assistant for the former Michael Berkowitz Company of Uniontown, and then by the Health and Welfare Council of Westmoreland County. After her retirement, Lola enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lola was precededed in death by the following brothers and sisters, John and William Conforti, and Margaret Petro, Olympia Marchioni, Adalaide Rozzo, and Leona Ferraro. As per the wishes of Lola, there will be no public hours of visitation or viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 5, 2013 in St. Pius X RC Church, Summit Street, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Entombment will be in the St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum, Hempfield Township. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mt.Pleasant, PA.
