Obituary of Alfred R. (Ed) Tressler

Mount Pleasant, Alfred R. (Ed) Tressler, age 61 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Thursday (7/11/2013) at his home. Mr. Tressler was born November 28, 1951 in Connellsville, PA, the son of the late Alfred Tressler and the late Frank and Anna Hegner Wolfe Ed was a 1970 graduate of Connellsville High School . He was employed in the Maintenance Department for the Woodcrest Senior Living Center in Scottdale. Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved NASCAR and was an avid Pirate and Steeler Fan. He loved spending his free time doing woodworking and riding his motorcycle. Ed was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His grandchildren were very precious to him, his pride and joy. He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 43 years, Naomi (Jeannie) Heller Tressler, his son, Trevor Tressler and his wife Jennifer of Mt. Pleasant, his daughters; Rhonda Maraugha and her husband Mark of Morgantown, WV and Belinda Lynn and her husband Jesse of Vanderbilt. He will be sadly missed by his beloved grandchildren, Austin and Kelsey Tressler, Blake, Byran and Brandon Martin, Alexis Stenger and Colby Lynn. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Wolfe and his wife Kathy of Morrell, and Frank Wolfe and his wife Mandy of Connellsville, and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and step father, Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Mae Baughman. Family and Friends will be received Saturday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Ed will be held Sunday at 1:30 PM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Herb Dubler officiating. Private interment will be in the Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
