Obituary of Lucy Yanniello Lankey

Mount Pleasant, Lucy Yanniello Lankey, age 82 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Wednesday (3/26/14) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA. Mrs. Lankey was born July 5, 1931 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Police Yanniello. She was a member of the Mt. Joy Church of the Brethren. Lucy was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School. She and her late husband Raymond had lived in the Bear Rocks area since 1949. Lucy is survived by her loving family: her sisters, Margaret Terlickie and Angeline Kolbasa, both of Detroit, MI and numerous nieces and nephews, including Richard Beran and his wife Marlene of Scottdale, and her sister-in-law Patricia Yanniello of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Lankey in August of 2000, and her brothers and sisters; Frank, Jerry and Michael Yanniello, and Mary Kaczmarek, Ann Beran Skapura, and Clara Gwizadalla. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Lucy will be held Monday at 11:30 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Lee Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Joy Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
