Obituary of Melanie Anne Grimm

Mount Pleasant, Melanie Anne Grimm, age 37 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Friday (3/28/14) in the UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Miss Grimm was born December 18, 1976 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of Daniel Grimm of Tarrs, and Deborah Bradenbaugh Grimm of Mt. Pleasant. Melanie was a 1995 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School. She was employed as the Office Manager for the former Diamond Pharmacy in Mount Pleasant. Melanie enjoyed Zumba at the YMCA. She was a loving, kind, and thoughtful daughter, sister and aunt, and a friend to many. She was very organized and was a true delegator. Melanie will be remembered as a strong willed and courageous Melanoma warrior. Her niece Trinitee said, "She was the loveliest aunt any kid could ask for." Melanie is survived by her loving family: her parents, Daniel and Debbie Grimm, her sisters; Stefanie Grimm and Tiffanie Grimm both of Mt. Pleasant and her nieces and nephew, Trinitee Altman, Ella Sherman and Abel Sherman. She is also survived by the following aunts, uncles, cousins: Paulette Dunton, Judy Shaw, Tom Grimm, Janie Hyde, Dorothy Sullenberger, Charles (Brad) L. Bradenbaugh, III, Ann Marie Bradenbaugh, Charles (Lee) L. Bradenbaugh IV, Christine Bradenbaugh, Nicholas Bradenbaugh, Sarah (Bradenbaugh) Hehus, Michael Bradenbaugh, Patrick Bradenbaugh, Matthew Bradenbaugh. Melanie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Roberta Bradenbaugh, and by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Grimm, and by her aunt and uncles, Sarah Grimm, Paul Grimm Jr., and Frank Grimm. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Additional viewing will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00AM until 1:00PM, the time of her Funeral Service, with the Rev. D. Keith Solomon officiating.
