Kim, Michele,Tom and Carrie
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your dad. The last of the Vandervort boys and we "kids" are now the front line. I wish you peace during this difficult time. I think of you all so often and enjoy all the wonderful memories we all made together.

Dad, Thank you for sitting through a million soccer games, various sporting events, musicals/choir concerts and for teaching me to shoot pool, play poker, and taking me on "The Beast" roller coaster for the first time ever...even though I wanted to "get off on the second hill," you wouldn't let me! No more pain and suffering, I can only hope I have half the fight and courage that you did, and hoping you are at peace with all of our other loved ones that have gone before you. Now you can once again leave your 'footprints' in the sand.....xoxo Carrie

Tom was a dear man who always had a way of making us laugh and smile. He was a very special brother-in-law and loving uncle. We love and miss you, but know you are at peace with our Lord in Heaven. God Bless Your Soul, Tom.

Bud was my best friend in our early teens. He would make lead soldiers and then melt them down again, something my mother would have been aghast about. And also remember when Bud got into weights and muscle building. He walked so upright with chest out then.
I think he said his older brother was lost in a plane in WWII.
And then there was the radio - first we made crystal sets then he got into ham radio with a Mr. Schlaudecker's help. All about Erie, Pa in the '50s. Sorry we lost touch after he moved to the east side of town.
