Obituary of Bertha C. Faith Miller

Acme, Bertha C. Faith Miller, age 99 of Acme, PA, died Saturday (9/6/14) in the St. Anne Home, Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Miller was born April 19, 1915 in McClure, PA, the daughter of the late John and Mary Felker Faith. She was a member of Armbrust Wesleyan Church. Bertha was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School. She was an avid quilter, enjoyed sewing, and loved playing Yatzee. Bertha devoted her life to giving and doing for others. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Bertha is survived by her loving family: her children, Judy Ulery and her husband Lyle of Elizabeth, John B. Miller and his wife Judie of Acme, and Vivian Arendas and her husband Mike of Greensburg, her ten grandchildren , seventeen great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Miller in 1984, her sons, Jack D. Miller in 2004 and Joseph D. Miller in 2014, her grandson, Josh Miller in 2000 and by her sisters and brother; Ruth Johnson, in 1992, Sarah Thompson in 1955 and John Faith in 1944. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 until 9 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Bertha will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with Pastor Mike Hazelton officiating. Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery, Saltlick Township.
