Pearl was very good to me when Phyllis and I were teenagers. She was a great woman with one huge sense of humor. God Bless you, Pearl!

My grandma means many things to me. When I was a child she took me many places, like Aunt Ida's, Gabe's, the drive in movies.... I remember that she taught me how to swim in the deep end at Briarcheck's. As a teen, she took me to get my driver's license, and listened to my teen age problems. In college she visited me often and even took my friends and I to Florida for Spring Break to visit my aunt. As an adult, she has taught me to be a strong woman who stands up for what I believe in. She played a huge role in my early years as a care giver and listener and I can only hope to be just like her as I watch my own children grow and become independent. I love my grandma and know she is in heaven where she belongs. She will always be in my heart.
