Obituary of William Paul Kozar

RuffsDale, William Paul Kozar, age 56 of RuffsDale, PA, died Sunday (11/16/14) in the Excela-Health Latrobe Hospital. Mr. Kozar was born June 20, 1958 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Robert H. and Dolores JeanTate Kozar. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Bill was a 1976 graduate of Southmoreland High School. He was employed as manager of the Sunoco Service Station at the New Stanton plaza on the turnpike. Bill was a member of the Hempfield Hunt Club and the ABB Club of Youngwood. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a collector of coins and Sunoco trucks. . . Bill is survived by his loving family: his wife of eleven years, Christine Mignogna Kozar, his children,William Kozar, Jr. and Kristi Kozar, both of Greensburg, and his two grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Robert H. Kozar, Jr. and his wife Cindy of RuffsDale, David J. Kozar and Thomas E. Kozar, both of Tarrs, and his special sister; Tracey Kuchar of RuffsDale. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 until 4 pm at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Bill will follow immediately at 4pm.
