Obituary of Dixie Lee Aller Null

Mount Pleasant, Dixie Lee Aller Null, age 77 of Mount Pleasant, PA, formerly of RuffsDale, died Thursday (4/23/15) in the Excela Health- Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Null was born February 28, 1938 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Edgar and Ruth Overly Aller. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Church of God. Dixie was the owner of the Dixie Lee Shoppe in RuffsDale. She was a Member of the United Mine Workers COMPAC, District 2, Local 9873, and the Silver Leaders of Veteran Commanders Club. Dixie's greatest passion was Flea marketing. She also enjoyed making jewelry and crafts. Dixie is survived by her loving family: her daughters; Judith Schomer and her husband Thomas of Scottdale, Sandra Niezgoda and her husband George of Mt. Pleasant, and Brenda Alt and her husband David of Greensburg. She will also be sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Thomas (Michele) Schomer, Donald (Jamie) Schomer, Dana Schomer, Stacey (Ryan) Naggy, George Niezgoda, and Tyler Alt, by her great grandchildren, Marisa, Cameron, Tyler, Mason, and Skyler, and by her great great grandchild, Sienna. Dixie is also survived by her sisters-in-law; Rita, Jean, Leola, and Joann and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marion Null, and by her brothers, Edgar, Harry, Arthur and Berle Aller. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Dixie will be held Monday in the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robert Allison officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
