Obituary of Shirley Ann Greenawalt

Mount Pleasant, Shirley Ann Gray Greenawalt, age 77 of Mount Pleasant, PA, (Hammondville) died Saturday (6/27/15) at her home. Mrs. Greenawalt was born December 27, 1937 in East Huntingdon Township, the daughter of the late William Dean and Edith Elsie Queer Gray. Shirley was a loving mother dedicated to caring for her family. She is survived by her loving family: her children; Harry L. Gray (Cheryl), Barry Gray (Karen), Shirley Rycicki (Bruce), Rex Blackburn, Penny Leonard (Rick), Thomas Greenawalt, Jr., Kevin Greenawalt (Denise), and Keith Greenawalt (Emily), her twenty- four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by her brothers, Robert Gray and Barry Zimmerman. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her son, John Lee Greenawalt in 1970, her two brothers, Edward and Harold Gray, and her sister, Helen Gray Overly. A Memorial Service for Shirley will be held Wednesday, 7/1/2015 at 2:00 PM in the Breakeck Church of God, 798 Breakneck Road, Connellsville,PA 15425, with her son Barry Gray officiating.
