Obituary of Bertha A. Pavuk-Latsko

Mount Pleasant, Bertha A. Pavuk-Latsko, age 85 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Monday (7/20/15) at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Pavuk-Latsko was born May 6, 1930 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Minick Pavuk. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Bertha was a 1948 graduate of the former Hurst High School. She had been employed for more than 20 years at the Shop n Save of Mt. Pleasant as a bookkeeper, and clerk. Bertha enjoyed shopping and she loved children. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 15 years, Leonard P. Latsko, her son, Todd M. Pavuk and his wife Dawn of Liberty Township, OH, and by her grandchildren, Chloe, Noah, and Autumn Pavuk. Bertha is also survived by her sisters; Eleanor Peagler, Anna Rose, and Phyllis Kromer and her husband Jay, all of Mt. Pleasant, and Elizabeth Kowatch of Trauger. In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her three brothers; William, Andrew and Leonard Pavuk. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services for Bertha will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating. Private Inurnment will be in the St. Pius X Parish Cemetery, Mt.
