Obituary of Loye Eberhart

Mount Pleasant, Loye Eberhart, age 77 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Thursday (8/27/15) in the Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mount Pleasant, PA. Mr. Eberhart was born December 29, 1937 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Frank and Mable Solomon Eberhart. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1959. Prior to his retirement, Loye was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Local #66 Operating Engineers. He loved spending his time making custom carved canes and powder horns. Loye is survived by his loving family; his wife of 48 years, Gloria Goodwin Eberhart, and his son, Loye Eberhart, II ,both of Mt. Pleasant. As per Loye's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Private Inurnment will be in the Middle Presbyterian Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank Inc., 190 Devonshire Drive, Delmont, PA 15626 (800-462-2080), in memory of Loye Eberhart.
