Obituary of Evelyn C. Yurechko

Mount Pleasant, Evelyn C. Macaluso Yurechko, age 78 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Friday (9/4/15) at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Yurechko was born January 11, 1937 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late August and Catherine Glovar Macaluso. She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. Evelyn was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School. She had been employed as a registered nurse for the late Dr. Klaus Vandyke and his family for over 40 years. Evelyn loved shopping, but most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dogs. She is survived by her loving family: her children; Joseph W. Yurechko and his wife Robin of Mt. Pleasant, Karen L. Roth and her husband Robert of Latrobe, and Jeffrey A. Yurechko and his wife Justine of Mt. Pleasant, her beloved grandchildren: Stephen J. Yurechko, Alex J. Yurechko, Bradley R. (Hannah) Roth, Cameron J. Roth and Nicholas Yurechko. Evelyn is also survived by her sister, Jacqueline Macaluso Ludwig, her nephew, Bryan (Jennifer) Ludwig, all of Mt. Pleasant and by her faithful companion and caregiver of 26 years, Alfonso M. Maida of Mt. Pleasant and his family; Patricia Wanninger, Frances Kenney and Michael Maida. In honor of Evelyn's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home, with private Interment to follow in the Visitation Parish Cemetery. The family suggests Memorial Contributions may be made to the Visitation Parish in memory of Evelyn Macaluso Yurechko.
