Obituary of John Martin Fedorchek

San Rafael, CA. John Martin Fedorchek, age 87 of San Rafael, CA, died peacefully, Wednesday (11/18/15) at Marin Convalescent Hospital, Tiburon, CA. Mr. Fedorchek was born March 28, 1928 in New Salem, PA. He was the son of the late John and Mary Sedlacko Fedorchek. John was a veteran of the Korean War who served in the United States Army. He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad in Cleveland, OH and San Francisco, CA, where he lived for more than 40 years. He was a connoisseur of fine wines and for many years was a docent who delighted in explaining the flora and fauna of northern California. John in survived by his sister, Louise Foster and Paul of Chagrin Falls, OH, his brother, Robert Fedorchek and Theresa of Fairfield, CT, his sister-in-law, Lynn Fedor, and his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Richard. The family is inviting family and friends to attend his graveside inurnment with military rites accorded by the American Legion Post 446 at Visitation Parish Cemetery on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 12:30PM with the Rev.
