Obituary of Marjory Ann Conn

Marjory Ann (Medsger) Conn, age 74 of Connellsville, PA, died Wednesday (8/29/2018) in the Marquis Gardens, Uniontown, PA.

Mrs. Conn was born August 17, 1944 in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of the late J. Lewis and  Anna Bitner Medsger.  She attended Pleasant Valley Community Church. Marjory was a graduate of Connellsville High School, and attended Juniata College. She worked as a Tax Preparer for H & R Block Co. Marjory enjoyed gardening and taking care of her property  and loved doing needle point. Her most favorite times however, were those spent with her family and with her Church Community, as her faith was very important to her.

  Marjory is survived by her loving family: her children; Christopher K. Conn and his wife Joan of Connellsville and Amy A. Davis and her husband Marty of Clinitwood, VA and by her beloved grandchildren; Kelsey Conn, Zachary Davis, and Cayden Conn. She is also survived by her brother, Pastor Philip Medsger and his wife Sandra of Roann, IN, and by her sister, Carol Gillott and her husband David of Bullskin Township. In addition to her parents, Marjory was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Conn in 2011.

Family and friends will be received Saturday from 4 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral services for Marjory will be held Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Scott Martin officiating.

Interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Connellsville. The family suggests Memorial Contributions may  be made to the Pleasant Valley Community Church, 1129 Breakneck Road, Connellsville, PA  15425 in memory of Marjory Medsger Conn.
