Obituary of Gladys Jean Yasika

Gladys Jean (Miller) Yasika, age 76 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Monday (8/12/2019) surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Mrs. Yasika was born December 9, 1942 in Johnstown, PA, the daughter of the late John and Martha Hockensmith Miller.  Mrs. Yasika had been employed for Harmon House Convalescent Center in Mt. Pleasant as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  

Gladys is survived by her loving family: her husband of 57 years, Nicholas M. Yasika. Her children:  Timothy A. (Diane) Yasika of  Petrolia,  Lisa McCullough of Seattle, WA, Nicholas J. (Debbie) Yasika of Greensburg,  Paula (Bob) Cesario of Stahlstown, Christopher M. (Karen) Yasika of Perris, CA. Fifteen Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. Her sisters: Kay (John)  Blough of North Carolina,  Barbara Blough of Hosopple, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by: brothers; Robert, Ralph, Richard, Dean, James, Harry and Donald Miller.

In honoring Gladys’ wishes, there will be no public hours of visitation or viewing.
