Please allow me to extend my heartfelt condolences for the recent loss of your loved one. I, too, have lost a family member and feel that pain.
I was comforted by the realization of the resurrection hope that was promised at Acts 17:31 in the Bible where God furnished a guarantee to all men in that He resurrected his Son from the dead. Since the word resurrected means a “restanding to life” our loved ones would be sleeping in death. Jesus said this when referring to his friend Lazarus at John 11:11; “Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.”
With such wonderful prospects for the return of the dead, the Bible speaks comfortingly how they will return to a cleansed earth, a new world of God’s making, to be joined with their loved ones.
If I can be of further comfort to you, please feel free to write to me at the above address. I would love to answer any questions that you might have. Be assured of my deepest sympathy.

Dick will be missed among his herb club pals, it just won’t be the same without him. We were so happy to have him at the meetings these last few months, and he was certainly happy to be there.
