Obituary of James W. Sheele

James W. “Shilo” Sheele, age 73, of Mount Pleasant PA, died Sunday Dec. 27, 2020. Mr. Sheele was born July 11, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the son of the late William K. and Eleanor Gorecki Sheele. He was a 1965 graduate of the former Hurst High School and he proudly served our country During the Vietnam War with the Army Artillery. Jim worked for over 41 years at U.S. Steel Edgar Thomson Works, Braddock, PA. Shilo was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Polish Falcon’s Nest, Hecla’s Sportsmen’s Club, Mt. Pleasant VFW Post 3368, East Huntington Sportsmen’s Club, and Donegal Legion. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years: Mary Ann Mayolo of Mt. Pleasant, his loving brothers, Thomas Sheele of Newburg, PA, and Donald and his wife Rose of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Pospisil and his brother Robert Sheele. Due to the current health crisis, there will be no public hours of viewing or visitation. Private Interment will be in The Bethel Cemetery of Cook Township.
