Obituary of Ann L. Overly

Norvelt, Ann L. (Sistek) Overly, age 90 of Norvelt, PA, died Friday,(3/12/2021) in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Overly was born January 28, 1931 in Greensburg, PA, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Donna Lakin Sistek. Ann was a true animal lover. She had always enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and roller skating. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Ann is survived by her loving family: her daughter in law, Kimberly Hysong Overly, her grandchildren, Rhea Stout (Vaun), Randy Overly II (Alissa) and Seth Overly (Danielle) and by her great grandchildren, Ayla, Mena & Vaun Stout and Jaxon and Isabel Overly. She is also survived by her niece, Bonnie Wholer and nephew Charles Wholer. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Overly in August of 2020, her sons, Kenneth Overly in 1990 and Randy B. Overly in 2006 and by her sister, Nancy Wholer in 2013. Honoring Ann’s wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Private graveside services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger, for her immediate family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home.
