Obituary of William Charles Beranek

Mount Pleasant, William Charles Beranek, age 74 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Monday (03/28/2011) in the Excela Heath- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Mr. Beranek was born March 10, 1937 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Albert and Helen Brown Beranek. He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Bill was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School. He had been a Salesman for the former Montgomery Ward Company and had also worked for the former Modulus Corp. Bill loved to travel. His favorite trips had been to Hawaii, California and Florida where he enjoyed boating and waterskiing. Bill is survived by his loving family: his best friend, Charles "Chuck" Rose, his brothers; Donald J. Beranek and his wife Patricia, John F. Beranek and his wife Donetta, all of Mt. Pleasant, and by his sister, Maxine Shebeck and her husband Robert of Greensburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. As per Bill's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 am with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.
